AudiosteerEQ does not collect, store, share, or transmit any personal data. It is built to work entirely on your Mac.

Information we collect

None. AudiosteerEQ contains no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not operate any server that the app contacts.

Audio processing

AudiosteerEQ applies equalization to the audio playing on your Mac. To do this, macOS asks for your permission to capture system audio. That audio is processed in real time, on your device, for the sole purpose of applying your EQ settings. It is never recorded, written to disk, or sent off your device — to us or to anyone else.

Network access

AudiosteerEQ makes no network connections of its own. The only network activity that can occur is Apple’s own handling of in-app purchases (below), which happens through the operating system, not through the app.

Settings and presets

Your EQ settings and saved presets are stored locally in the app’s preferences on your Mac. They never leave your device.

In-app purchases

AudiosteerEQ offers an optional one-time purchase, “AudiosteerEQ Plus.” Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not see, receive, or store your payment details or Apple ID. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Children’s privacy

AudiosteerEQ collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
